Bradford Council would like to thank all the people who have worked on putting together the Bradford Mela, the volunteers, the community groups, the sponsors and partner organisations, the stall holders, the performers, artists and their ‘back stage’ crews, and especially the 200,000 visitors who made the ‘Coming of Age’ celebration such a special weekend.

But Bradford Mela doesn’t end here – the weekend was just the start of the 21st Anniversary year for Bradford Mela. There will be events, exhibitions, an oral history project and a commemorative book coming up in the next 12 months – so keep coming back to this site!
