Top Tips for visiting Bradford Mela
Car Parking
There is a secure car park on the site, which can be accessed from both Cliffe Road and Lister Lane. There is a £5.00 fee for parking each day. There is a designated parking area for disabled people. Please display your Blue Badge parking permit.
Sign Language
A BSL01 member of staff to help with information.
Toilets
Wheelchair accessible toilets available at each of the 5 toilet areas around the site.
Site Access
The stages, childrens zone, funfair, markets, performance and sports areas are situated on the top level of the park which can be accessed from the car park and entrance on Cliffe Road without negotiating any steep gradients. Access from the lower level, Lister Lane car park and Bolton Road entrance can be made via a footpath that runs underneath a pedestrian bridge, to avoid steps or steep gradients.
Access Champions
There will be members of staff at each of the Information Points around the site who will be able to help with access needs.
Viewing area
There will be designated raised areas for disabled viewers.
Baby Café
Full support for baby change and feeding will be onsite.
Drop-off points
Drop off points and pick up points will be clearly sign posted on Cliffe Road near the entrance to the disabled parking area.
Seating
There will be seating available in the food areas and chill out areas as well as park benches around the site.
First Aid
There will be a medical facility available on site.
