Mini Parade
Everyone is invited to join a mini parade around the site at 3pm the afternoon. It will be a carnival of colourful costumes and musicians playing driving rhythms which will wind its way around the Mela. Get creative and make your own colourful carnival costume at Bradford Mela.

bcreative zone
bcreative is a new arts project which aims to get you to take part in creative, artistic, theatrical and craft making activities, which are guaranteed to inspire and motivate you. Alongside music and dance with an exotic, global feel, bcreative have programmed a zone at this year's Bradford Mela with a mix of hands-on performances and workshops, exhibitions and information.
Bradford Gold Sports Zone
Be active with turn up and play activities in the sports zone featuring sports skills and climbing wall! Bradford Gold is a project which aims to showcase and support all the sporting and cultural activity that is taking place in the district as the London 2012 Games approach

Sanctuary Tent
The Sanctuary Tent brings together a diverse group of people to make music, sing, dance, and have fun together, while also demonstrating that the human spirit can shine through grief and anguish, and very real trials and tribulations. Organised by several groups working in Bradford with Asylum Seekers and Refugees who have come to this country fleeing from persecution of some terrible kind that most of us can't even begin to imagine. The Sanctuary Tent will host a programme of performances by different groups from the refugee community, with spontaneous happenings erupting from time to time. There will be a cafe and stalls and an opportunity learn more about the work that these groups do.
Bradford Libraries
Bradford Libraries will host story-telling sessions for children during the day along with activities on the Library Bus.
Bradford Museums
A classic car, made in Bradford by Jowett, will be brought to Peel Park, by Bradford Museums & Galleries. There will also be a variety of activities in the Bradford Museums gazebo.
