Venue: Lister Park
The change in dates for the festival saw lighter evenings, if not better weather, and an attendance of around 120,000 people. The closing fireworks display was replaced by a stunning ‘mascaletta’ daytime pyrotechnic show by External Combustion.
Bhangra band Anakhi, who were just visiting the event, stepped in to save the day when headline act Alaap failed to appear.
