Top Tips for Getting to Peel Park

Man with ChildBradford Mela is expecting over 100,000 visitors over the two days. Here is some important information to make sure your day is safe, fun and enjoyable.

Visitors to the Mela are encouraged to consider bus travel or walking to the site where possible.

Bus Times
The buses serving Peel Park are frequent, and a faster way to access the Mela.

The Cliffe Road entrance to the park is served by bus number 645 (Green Line towards Greengates) from Bradford city centre.

The Peel Park entrance to the park is served by bus numbers 640/641 (Red Line towards Five Lane Ends) and 611/612 (towards Shipley) from Bradford city centre.

Car Parking
There is a secure car park on the site, although spaces are limited. The site can be accessed from both Cliffe Road and Lister Lane.

There is a £5.00 fee for parking each day.
There is a designated parking area for disabled people. Please display your Blue Badge parking permit.

Please Note: The streets around Peel Park are all resident permit parking only.

Getting To Bradford

From South and West: Exit M62 at junction 26 and take the M606 to the city centre. From the centre, take the A658, direction Leeds/Bradford airport and Harrogate. The Park is one mile north of the centre: turn left into Cliffe Road.
From North and East: Exit A1 at junction 47 and take the A59 direction Knaresborough. Take A658 direction Bradford.
